The site was similar to eBay in function, but also broadcast live auctions from around the world and allowed users to bid on items in real time. Additionally, viewers of the PAX-TV program Treasures in Your Home could bid on items as they were presented during the live simulcast of Gavelnet.com’s auction segment.
